Phone for 80 Euros – See What It Offers
There are affordable phones, there are very affordable ones, and then there is the Honor Play 10C.
This phone was introduced a few days ago in China, and comes with a 6.61-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720x1604, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1,010 nits.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC chipset, and features a 13 MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 5 MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture, as well as a 6,000 mAh battery with wired charging support of up to 15W.
If you are wondering what’s so special about this device – it costs only 80 euros, albeit in China, where it is currently the only place you can buy it.
For that price, in addition to the above, you also get an IP64 certification for dust and water resistance. The Honor Play 10C is available in three RAM and storage configurations:
4 GB / 128 GB (about 77 euros)
6 GB / 128 GB (about 83 euros)
8 GB / 256 GB (about 100 euros)
This is a very cheap phone, so you cannot expect top-tier performance, but it’s good to have such an option for those who would use it only for basic tasks.
The Play 10C runs on Android 15 with Honor’s MagicOS 9.0 interface, measures 163.95 x 75.6 x 8.39 mm, and weighs 197g. It is already available for purchase in China through Honor’s online store, with deliveries starting today, August 12.
