New Renault Clio Has Arrived: What You Get for Under €20,000
At the beginning of September, Renault presented the new Renault Clio, and it is now officially available for order in France.
The new Clio comes with a refreshed design and a wide range of powertrains, including a “full hybrid” that offers the best of both worlds in terms of performance (+15 hp, +22 Nm of torque and 0–100 km/h in 8.3 seconds).
It also features up to 29 driver assistance systems and an in-car connected experience with adaptive cruise control and an integrated Google system (starting from the mid trim level).
With a length of 4,120 mm, the new Clio has the silhouette of a dynamic hatchback. The trunk capacity is up to 391 liters. It comes in a simplified range with three trim levels and rich equipment already from the base version.
The entry-level Evolution trim includes technologies such as adaptive cruise control, driver attention alert, automatic parking brake, a 10.1-inch central display, and more. Above that is the Techno trim, while the top-of-the-line version is called Esprit Alpine.
The new Renault Clio will start at €19,900 for the base model, demonstrating the French company’s determination to compete in the under-€20,000 segment.
